About Me
Hi I’m Danielle! I have been a pediatric occupational therapist for 5 years and am currently in Orlando, Florida. During my career I’ve worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, home health, the public school system, and Early Intervention. I believe that every single person has a variety of strengths and weaknesses – but for children (and adults) who need different supports it seems like the weaknesses are often what we focus on. In my practice, I like to focus on the strengths of each individual in order to help them not only learn new skills and thrive, but to foster a sense of safety and positive self identity in the process. I also use a neurodiversity-affirming lens in my practice. I love to encourage family participation and collaboration during the therapeutic process to make sure we are coming up with solutions that fit your individual needs.

Services We Offer
We currently offer natural-environment based occupational therapy services in the greater Orlando area. These are often provided in the home, but can take place anywhere meaningful to the individual family. This can include parks, stores, daycare, etc.
We also provide some unique services for adults – Sensory Profile Assessment and Consultation Services as well as Interoception services. Interoception is our eighth sense that allows us to make sense of our body’s internal sensations. These services will focus on learning what body sensations mean in relation to self-care, identifying emotions, and utilizing appropriate coping strategies.
